Operation Brotherly Love

Operation Brotherly Love brings together City leaders, families, corporations and individuals to give as many children as possible the holiday they deserve and to show them that somebody truly cares about them. To promote a sense of community and create an understanding of the importance of connecting with each other and helping others do the same.

Once annually during the holidays, Operation Brotherly Love brings together 5,000 dedicated volunteers and deserving families for the Operation Brotherly Love event: a carnival for kids which supports more than 650 Philadelphia-area families in need, providing 2,000+ children with personalized holiday gifts. The event includes an exciting afternoon of carnival games, dancing, entertainment, food and fun.

Volunteer opportunities for the 8th annual Operation Brotherly Love Holiday Carnival are limited and by invitation. If you have received an invitation to the event, or would like to make a donation in support of the event, you must register via the following form:

We request all volunteers sponsor at least one child. The cost to sponsor one child is $25, and the cost to sponsor one family is $100.

To make an online contribution, select the “Support this Project” button on the top right of this page and enter your contribution amount. Please be sure “Operation Brotherly Love” is selected as the Program.

If you make an online contribution, you will receive a confirmation e-mail acknowledgement detailing your tax deductibility. If you are donating via check, a letter will be mailed for all contributions of $100 or more which can be used for tax purposes.
